Solomon Kody Brown (born October 26, 2011) is the son of Kody Brown and Robyn Brown. He is the seventeenth child for Kody and the fourth for Robyn.
He is the brother of Logan Brown, Aspyn Thompson, Leon Brown, Madison Brush, Mykelti Padron, Hunter Brown, Paedon Brown, Garrison Brown, Dayton Brown, Gabriel Brown, Gwendlyn Queiroz, Aurora Brown, Ysabel Brown, Savanah Brown, Breanna Brown, Truely Brown and Ariella Brown.
Early life
Pregnancy
On April 11, 2011, Kody Brown and Robyn Brown announced they were pregnant with their first child, with a due date in mid-October.
In September, 2011, Robyn and Kody revealed that their midwife was unable to find a heartbeat at one point in the pregnancy, causing them to worry she had miscarried. They later said that everything was okay.
On October 9, 2011, Robyn and Kody announced that they were having a boy.
Birth
At 2:02 a.m. on October 26, 2011, Robyn gave birth to Solomon Kody in her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. He weighed 9 pounds and 10.5 ounces and was 22 inches long. "He's perfect and we couldn't be happier," Solomon's father Kody said in a statement. "We are so thrilled". He was the couple's first child together, although his mother already had three children from a previous marriage, and his father already had thirteen children from his three other wives. "He looks like Kody. All my babies before had dark, curly hair", Robyn said shortly after his birth. "He is so cute. He looks like a little Brown baby. He has a sweet, peaceful spirit".
Childhood
On June 17, 2015, Solomon's father Kody adopted his older half-siblings Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna, which made them his legal full siblings.
On June 19, 2015, Solomon's parents announced they were expecting their second child. On January 10, 2016, Solomon's younger sister, Ariella, was born.
Career
Television
Solomon's birth was featured on the TLC show Sister Wives in the episode "Sisters' Special Delivery". Sister Wives chronicles his family's polygamist lifestyle. He has been regularly featured on the show his entire life.
